Telehealth / GLP-1 / FAQs

Questions clinics ask before they build.

Direct answers on scope, timing, compliance boundaries, and who owns what. Useful to a clinic deciding, and to the systems that now answer on their behalf.

What does ToolBX actually build for a telehealth or GLP-1 program?

The website and the systems around it: positioning and program pages, the intake path, checkout and subscriptions, the handoff to your clinical platform and pharmacy, tracking, email and SMS, and a site structure that holds up to compliance review. We build the commercial and technical layer. We do not provide care.

What does a telehealth website cost?

It depends on what you already have. A clinic with an offer, a provider network and a platform already chosen needs far less than one starting from a name. The things that move the number are how many programs you sell, whether checkout carries subscriptions, how much of the intake and pharmacy handoff has to be built rather than configured, and whether existing content can be reused. Tell us what you have and we will come back with the shape of the work.

How long does a build take?

The honest answer is that the build is rarely the long pole. Deciding the offer, getting provider and pharmacy arrangements confirmed, and clearing compliance review usually take longer than the site. We scope the schedule against those, not against a page count, so the date we give you accounts for the parts that are not ours.

Is ToolBX a HIPAA covered entity, and who is responsible for PHI?

No. Your clinic and your clinical platform handle protected health information and hold the obligations that come with it. Our work is to keep the website out of the way of that: to avoid collecting clinical detail where it is not needed, to hand the patient to the platform at the right point, and to make sure analytics and advertising tags are not sitting on pages where they would see what they should not. Confirm your own obligations with qualified counsel.

What does ToolBX do versus the clinical provider or the platform?

You own the clinic, the medical oversight, the records and patient support. The platform provides provider access, clinical workflow and the pharmacy relationship. ToolBX builds the storefront, the intake path, checkout, the integration between those pieces, and the measurement. If a question is clinical, it belongs with your provider, not with us.

Which platforms do you integrate with?

We build on Shopify, WordPress and Webflow, and connect to the telehealth platform you choose. We have worked with CareValidate and Qualiphy, and we have written neutral comparisons of several platforms in our field guides. Scope, provider coverage, pharmacy availability and state availability change, so confirm those with the platform directly before you commit.

How do intake, payment and pharmacy fit together?

As one path, which is the part most sites get wrong. A visitor should move from the program page to intake, to payment, to a clinical review, to fulfilment, without re-entering what they already gave you and without a dead end if they drop out. Each handoff is a place where a patient is lost or an order stalls, so those are the joins we build and test rather than assume.

Can you make a site ready for LegitScript certification?

We prepare the website side of it: the structure, the disclosures, the policy pages and the claims, so what the site says matches what the business actually does. Certification is LegitScript’s decision and it rests on your clinical, licensing and pharmacy arrangements as much as on the site. We can tell you what in the current build would not survive review.

What do you need from us before starting?

The offer and what it costs the patient, which states you intend to serve, who your provider and pharmacy arrangements are with, whichever platform you have chosen or are deciding between, and access to the current site and analytics if there is one. If several of those are still open, the program fit review is the better starting point.
